Warm Greetings to Our Guests,

Ethiopia has signed the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) to realize trade and regional integration. We are also progressing toward accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO). Gada Special Economic Zone (GSEZ) was established with a bold vision: to become a sustainable and attractive investment destination in Africa. We envision becoming the continent’s most vibrant economic hub by 2063—aligned with the AU-led Agenda 2063.

GSEZ is designed to drive industrial transformation, create jobs for youth, and attract both local and international investors. Our 24,000-hectare masterplan—crafted by seasoned experts—outlines a phased development strategy. With 13 industrial zones, free trade areas, science parks, and residential districts, GSEZ is poised to unlock Ethiopia’s demographic dividend.

Since inception, we’ve focused on building institutional capacity, acquiring land, and finalizing operational standards. With the support of federal and regional governments, we welcome investors and developers with open arms.

We are determined to realize our vision for 2063.
